7th Grade Home Room

Hello to all my incoming students and their families.  I am thrilled to be back for my sixteenth year at Little Flower School.  This will be my forty-eighth  year teaching in the Catholic schools.  I first began my teaching career at St. Joseph School in Long Beach, California.  I spent two years teaching middle school for the Sisters of St. Louis.  I then moved to St. Mel's School in Woodland Hills, California.  I taught middle school there for five years before starting my family and, subsequently moving to Reno, Nevada.  In 1983, I began teaching at Our Lady of the Snows School, teaching middle school language arts, history, and religion.  I spent ten years there as a middle school teacher and then was hired as the principal.  I led the school as their principal for twelve years and then decided to retire.  HA, HA.  My retirement lasted only one year and, in 2005, I came to Little Flower.  I have a long history at Little Flower because my children both spent eight years here.  I LOVE LITTLE FLOWER AND I LOVE MY STUDENTS.  I LOVE TEACHING.  IT IS WHAT KEEPS ME ALIVE.
