Mr. Lightfoot's Classroom

Digital Learning will be done on the Pearson Realize website.  Assignments will be added daily.  It is up to your student to complete daily assignments.  The assignments must be done under the "Classes" and "Assignment" tabs and submitted there for credit.  The students all know how to do this.  Please email Mrs. Enos with any questions- saramoritzenos@gmail.com

Golden Welcome to Mr. Lightfoot's
  • 8th Grade Home Room
  • 6th - 8th Grade Social Studies
Hi!  This is me, Mr. Lightfoot!  I am a life-long resident of the Reno-Sparks area. After attending public schools in Sparks, I earned my degree in education from the University of Nevada with a major in History and a minor in Psychology.  I have been teaching middle school at Little Flower for 20 years (Whoa!!).   When not teaching, I can be found coaching football at Sparks High School in the fall, umpiring high school baseball in the spring, doing an occasional acting gig in local productions, spending as much time as possible at our my family's cabin at Lake Tahoe in the summer, and basically just trying to stay warm during the winter.  As you can see from the picture I am a Raiders and an A's fan, as well as a fan of the Wolf Pack.  I am also a huge life-long fan of the Golden State Warriors and of Ohio State football

But, enough about me.  Welcome, and I look forward to a fantastic school year.

Theater

Students will be exploring aspects of the theater and impromptu including onstage and behind the scenes.  Students will learn how to better perform in front of an audience, how to design and prepare sets.  Each semester we will be preforming a play for the school, however not all involved in the class will have to perform.  those who prefer will be working behind the scenes as part of the production team.
