The Sisters of Mercy have dedicated themselves to education in Nevada by staffing Little Flower School. Little Flower School has educated many young men and women over the past 45 years. The religious and lay staff of Little Flower School has maintained a standard of excellence in education not matched by other educational institutions, and it is important that this work be continued and plans be made for its growth, and prospective contributors have expressed a willingness to contribute funds to the Diocese for such purposes, The Mother Catherine Mc Auley Restricted Education Fund was established in December of 1996. This fund will be managed and administered by the Diocesan Investment Board who shall provide quarterly reports of the financial condition of the fund to the Pastor, Principal, and School Board of Little Flower School. The fund was established as a restricted fund, the income of which shall be used exclusively to preserve, promote, and enhance the quality of academic education at the Little Flower Parish School.
