NOTICE OF NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY AS TO STUDENTS


The schools of the Diocese of Reno operate in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the non-discriminatory requirement of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (P.L. 92-318).
The Diocese of Reno does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic
origin in administration of its educational policies, scholarship and loan programs and
athletic and other school-administered programs. Co-educational schools of the Diocese do not discriminate against any applicant or student because of sex in educational policies, admissions, educational program or activities of the
school.

On September 1, 2009 Admission Applications may be submitted for the 2010/2011 School Term

PRIORITY FOR ADMISSION

Priority for admission is extended to families according to the following guidelines:

First Priority: Children of faculty, present students and siblings entering the
school by application.
Second Priority: Catholic students whose parents are registered, supporting
members of Little Flower Parish.
Third Priority: Students of Little Flower School alumni.
Fourth Priority: Catholic students from other parishes.
Fifth Priority: Applicants from the community.

REGISTRATION

Student registration takes place in the month of March for each school year. The following
documents are required at time of registration:
Registration Form (one per student) Immunization Records (up-to-date) Registration fee per student
Parent's Club dues per family New family maintenance fee (a one-time fee) Emergency Information Form (one per student)

 

PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT TUITION CATEGORIES:

2010 / 2011
Category 1: If your children are in Grades K - 8
First Child – Kindergarten $4,000.00
Second Child $3,000.00
Third Child $2,300.00
Fourth Child $2,200.00 		Category 2: If your children are in Grades 1 – 8
First Child $3,500.00
Second Child $2,800.00
Third Child $2,300.00
Fourth Child $2,200.00
