Mrs. Betsy Albert

My name is Betsy Albert. This is my sixteenth year at Little Flower School and my ninth year teaching 1st grade. I have been in education for twenty-two years. I have taught kindergarten, first, third, and fifth grades. After a brief survey of intermediate grades, I realized that I enjoy working with 1st graders the most. I received my B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and my Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada. I live in Reno with my family and black Labrador puppies, George and Genevieve.

Mrs. Josie Griggs

Mrs. Josie Griggs will be our first grade aide this year. This is her seventeenth year at Little Flower School; thirteen of those were spent as the kindergarten aide. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education while in her native country, the Philippines. She taught there for four years prior to moving to the States. She has lived in Reno with her family for the past twenty-two years. Her daughter is a Little Flower alumnus.

We are looking forward to a fun-filled year! If you have any questions or concerns about 1st grade, please feel free to email us at balbert@littleflowerschoolnv.org.
