Books and Beyond Reading Program
"Books and Beyond" is a reading incentive program that Little Flower has participated in for many years. It is designed to increase students' reading for pleasure. We encourage all students to participate. Books read, as an assignment will not count towards this program. We want students to go above and beyond school assignments.
The Books and Beyond bulletin board (located in the hallway between 4th and 5th grades) has eight stations. In order to reach each station, a child must read a required number of books or pages. When a child reaches each station, they will be given a reward. If a child reaches the eighth station, he or she will receive a gold medal at our Gold Medal Ceremony.
A raffle will be held at the end of the program. We hope that all of these incentives will entice you to read, read, and read some more!
